Editorial policy

Clear rules for evidence and commercial influence

Readers should be able to tell why something is included, who supplied a fact and whether money affected the page.

01

Editorial order is not for sale

Payment, gifts, affiliate arrangements or free access cannot buy a place or a higher reference number. Any commercial relationship belongs beside the relevant recommendation.

02

Claims stay within their evidence

Registration, awards, ratings and memberships are described as separate signals. None becomes shorthand for “best”. Provider-written claims are attributed and checked for internal conflicts.

03

Right of reply, not right of edit

A named business can correct factual details and provide documents. It cannot approve the article, remove a fair caveat or change the editorial order.

04

Sensitive topics get stricter treatment

Medical, child-related, safety, legal, financial and regulated-service pages use official registries and restrained language. They are not substitutes for qualified personal advice.

05

Images need a clear basis for use

Place and provider images must have a recorded source and reuse basis. Illustrative photography is labelled and cannot be used as proof that a specific business has a facility, process or product.
